Eduardo Herrera

Eduardo Herrera has been a practicing Buddhist since 1992. A year later he began a full four-year program at the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute in India. He completed another B.A. in Eastern and Western Philosophy at the University of Delhi (1994). He has practiced and studied under the guidance of several teachers of the lineage for over fifteen years.

Since 1996, he has taught Dharma and also has translated for several Masters and Khenpos including H. H. Karmapa Thaye Dorje, Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche, Shenyen Lama Jampa, Khenpo Tsering Samdrup, Tsultrim Zangpo, Karma Ngedon and others in Asia, Europe and Latin America. In 2004 he concluded his M.A in Chinese Studies with research on Sino-Tibetan relations in the 15th Century. At the request of the 14th Shamarpa, Eduardo is teaching and assiting the Bodhi Path centers and groups in Mexico and Latin America and continues to do research in Asia, particularly in Tibet through his frequent visits.
