The new Bodhi Path Centre in the Black Forest in Germany is the first Bodhi Path Centre in Europe. The house was bought by the Karma Kagyu Foundation in Fall 2003 and had its opening course from 02.-04.2004. with Lama Jigme Rinpoche.

It is located in the southern part of the Black Forest near Waldshut which is close to the Swiss border, as well as to Austria and France.

Besides Shamar Rinpoche, Lama Jigme Rinpoche is the spiritual leader of the centre.

The centre provides daily meditation practices in the morning and in the evening. There is always someone living in the centre, so it is open at all times for people to come for Dharma discussions or to meditate in the shrine room.

There will be additional courses and lectures taking place. These teachings will be transcribed so that people have the opportunity to come to the centre and read these texts.
