About Jigme Rinpoche's Teaching Program:
As students of the Buddhist path, we study, contemplate, and practice ways for us to make progress on the path to awakening (the bodhi path). We invite you to receive Jigme Rinpoche’s guidance about how we can access some of the most effective approaches and how to apply them. Please enjoy this rare opportunity to hear and directly interact with Jigme Rinpoche, who is home based in France, about his in-depth insights, meant for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.

About the Meditation Retreat Program—Meditation as a Transcendent Quality:
Integral to the path to awakening are the Six Paramitas, or perfections, or transcendent qualities. One of the six is meditation. This retreat will offer a mixture of teachings and practice sessions to help us cultivate a deeper familiarity with and understanding of meditation as a transcendent quality. Bodhi Path Teacher Trinlay Rinpoche will lead these retreat days.

Brief Bios of the Featured Teachers:

Jigme Rinpoche:
Born in Tibet in 1949, Lama Jigme Rinpoche grew up and received his education with the principal teachers of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The Sixteenth Karmapa named Lama Jigme Rinpoche as his official representative and the spiritual director of Dhagpo Kagyu Ling in France. Ever since, Lama Jigme Rinpoche has filled this role and has taught Dharma worldwide, including regularly at Bodhi Path centers. Strengthened by decades of experience in the West, his unique and modern approach renders the Buddha’s millennia-old wisdom accessible and allows students to apply it concretely in daily 21st century life.

Trinlay Rinpoche:
Karma Trinlay Rinpoche, born of French and American parents, is one of the first Westerners to be recognized as a Tulku by H.H. the late 16th Karmapa. Karma Trinlay Rinpoche has received all the important transmissions of Buddhism, as well as completed both traditional Buddhist and Western academic studies in the fields of philosophy and history. Fluent in English, French, and Tibetan, Rinpoche maintains a regular teaching schedule at Buddhist Centers worldwide and online, including programs for the Bodhi Path network of centers. Karma Trinlay Rinpoche is a genuine bridge between the East and the West, the traditional and the modern.
