Suggested Donation for Weekly Activities
The Center is supported by the donations of the Sangha. Although we don't pass a collection plate after the Sunday service, there is a donation box for cash and checks. The suggested donation is $10 for the Sunday service and also for the Tuesday and Thursday evening meditation sessions.
Note: The lack of means to make a financial contribution is not a reason to stay away.

Donation for Teaching Weekends
Teaching weekends are led by instructors and Lamas who typically travel from Europe or Asia. The Center pays a share of their travel costs and is responsible for local travel, meals and lodging.
These events are announced in advanced and the suggested donation is based on the costs to the center.
Donation to the Teachers
It is traditional to offer money (dana) to the teachers in appreciation for their efforts. They do not receive a salary or stipend and are dependent on their students for income. Envelopes are avaliable for teacher donations.
Pledging Ongoing Financial Support
Committed members of the Sanga are asked to pledge a monthly or annual donation. Pledges make it possible to accurately budget expenses and income for the center. $40 a month is suggested (but give what you can afford) for those who wish to affiliate with the center. There are pledge forms at the center and a printable form HERE.
All checks should be made payable to "The Wisdom Foundation".
The form can be dropped into the collection box at the Center or mailed to the address on the form.
Tax Status of Donations
All donations to the Center are tax deductible in the USA. A statement is sent to each donor at the beginning of the year for tax purposes.
